Knowsley Family and Community (FACE) is a service that offers family and adult learning throughout Knowsley. We aim to provide a friendly service where you can learn in a non-threatening environment, open to anyone over the age of 16.

Mission:

“To develop and support adult learning that encourages confidence and raises self-esteem. The Local Authority wishes to promote adult education that supports personal, creative and social development. It helps adults meet the challenges of modern life and improve their employability and skills. The LA seeks to nurture adult education that meets the learning needs of the widest range of learners.” 

 We run adult classes in 7 Centres for Learning, 7 libraries and varying outreach community venues.

We run family learning provision throughout the borough mainly in primary schools.

• A range of affordable and enjoyable courses at a variety of adult centres throughout Knowsley.
• Courses that lead to accreditation or certification with a recognised awarding body or examination board.
• Most courses are offered in the evening but we have some courses during the day time as well.
